Transgenic Rabbit Models (TRM) is a servicing company dedicated to the development and supply of genetically modified rabbit models for the bioresearch community. TRM is a subsidiary company of BioProtein Technologies, a Contract Manufacturing Organization specialized in the production of recombinant proteins and vaccines in the milk of transgenic rabbits.
TRM is currently the only company providing animal model servicing in the rabbit species. With a 400 rabbit facility and a highly experienced team, the company has the capability to generate transgenic rabbit models within competitive time frame and cost effective conditions.

EXPERTISE
TRM has privileged access to the expertise and know-how developed by BioProtein Technologies, for the production of transgenic rabbits. To date the company has micro-inected more than 35 000 embryos and generated 200 transgenic lines both with BACs and plasmids.
Transgenic rabbits are developed and bred in our conventional status husbandry. SPF (Specific Pathogen Free) animal-related services can be subcontracted to specialized companies, ensuring first class animal breeding, housing, health status certification as well as worldwide delivery.
WORKING WITH TRM
TRM offers 100% customized services, from transgenic model design, through transgene preparation, embryo microinjection, transgenic rabbit screening and breeding. Animals can be easily transferred at any place and any time thanks to embryo and sperm freezing.
